2 | Remove transmission housing from torque converter housing | ||
3 | Disassemble the transmission into its main components | ||
4 | Remove teflon rings (5) and needle roller bearing (1) | ||
Installation: Replace teflon rings (5) and insert with grease so that the joint stays together. | |||
Installation: After installing the teflon rings (5), check axial play between shim (12) and retaining ring (13) and adjust if necessary. | |||

5 | Remove retaining ring (13), shim (12), needle roller bearing (11) and thrust plate (10) | ||
6 | Remove clutch K3 (9) and rear hollow shaft (8) | Installation: Insert rear hollow shaft (8) in clutch K3 (9) and install together. | |
Check clutch K3 (9) and rear hollow shaft (8); replace if necessary: | |||

7 | Remove rear gear set (7) with integrated ring gear of center gear set | ||
8 | Remove teflon rings (3). | ||
9 | Remove thrust plate (6) and needle cage (4) | Installation: The collar of thrust plate (6) must face towards the planet carrier. | |
10 | Assemble in the reverse order | ||
11 | Install in the reverse order |
