Separate sensor line of brake wear sensor

At the sensor line connector (3) in the routing of the line or at the sensor line plug (4) on the brake caliper, depending on accessibility.

Detach and connect the plug (4) axially only, and loosen and tighten the threaded connection carefully, as the brake caliper must be replaced in case of damage to the plug-in connection or the threaded connection.

Unscrew bolt (1) and fitted bolt (2) and remove brake carrier with brake caliper (5)

Loosen fitted bolt (2) last.

Installation: Use new bolts (1).

First screw in the fitted bolt (2) on the exit side of the brake disk finger-tight.

Check brake caliper for condensed water and corrosion

Condensed water in housing of brake caliper or traces of corrosion on sealing surface, housing opening, and brake lever indicate a defective combination cylinder or diaphragm cylinder. In this case, a new combination cylinder or diaphragm cylinder and a new brake caliper must be installed.

Clean contact surface on axle
