1 Check position of the engine (10° BTDC of cylinder 1), adjust to correct setting if necessary.

2 Rotate injection pump shaft so that the marking (gap) in the teeth of the driver points toward the connection of the injection pipe for cylinder 1. After this, rotate injection pump shaft to the right as far as the pressure point and push coupling sleeve onto the driver.
