	Removing
1	Remove range module (A91).		AR26.20-G-1006E
2	Remove bleed nozzle (1)
3	Unscrew screw plug (2) and remove spring (3)	 The screw plug (2) is spring-loaded.
4	Pull out pin (4) approx. 15 mm
5	Mark shift piston (7) in "12 o'clock position"
6	Remove transmission housing bolt on right bearing pin (5)
7	Unscrew both bearing pins (5)
8	Turn shift piston (7) through 180° and pull out together with attached shift rod (6)
9	Remove pilot bushing (11) and radial shaft seal (10)	 Internal extractor	*000589273300

	Install
10	Moisten new radial shaft sealing ring (10) with synthetic grease		*BR00.45-Z-1027-06A
11	Drive new radial shaft sealing ring (10) all the way into rear section of transmission housing using drift (12)	 The spring lock washer of the radial shaft sealing ring (10) must point inward.

12	Drive pilot bushing (11) all the way into rear section of transmission housing using drift (12)	 Drift	*116589084300
13	Install shift piston (7) with attached shift rod (6)	 The marking on the shift piston (7) must be in the "6 o'clock position".
14	Turn shift piston (7) through 180° and hook shift fork into shift rod (6)	 Insert a small screwdriver through the hole for the bearing pin (5) on the left-hand side of the rear section of the transmission housing and attach the shift fork.
15	Install both bearing pins (5)	 Coat the threads of the two bearing pins (5) with quick-action adhesive.	*BR00.45-Z-1133-02A

16	Screw in transmission housing bolt at right bearing pin (5)		*BA26.40-N-1002-01KL
17	Install spring (3) and screw in screw plug (2)	 Tighten the screw plug (2) to the specified torque, otherwise the center section of the transmission housing can be damaged.

18	Install bleed nozzle (1)
