| Remove/install | ||
1 | Drain off coolant. | ||
2 | Remove upper front crossmember. | ||
3 | Remove coolant hoses (2) from the additional cooler (1). | Collect coolant which flows out. | |

Installation: Check clamps (3) for re-usability. | |||

If one or more clamps (3) cannot be reused, | |||

Replace affected clamps (3). | |||
4 | Unscrew bolt (4). | M6 | |
5 | Unhook bracket of the right automatic transmission oil cooler from the additional cooler (1). | Engine 699.305 in model 470 with transmission 700.770 | |
6 | Remove the bracket (7). | To do this, remove expansion rivet (9) and remove screws (6, 8). | |
Installation: Check expansion rivet (9) for damage. | |||

If the expansion rivet (9) is damaged, | |||

replace expansion rivet (9). | |||
7 | Remove additional cooler (1). | | |
8 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
