 Warning

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Drain off

Slowly remove cap from engine cooling system expansion reservoir.

Remove lower engine compartment paneling.

Slide drain hose onto fitting (1).

Open drain valve (2), drain coolant and collect in suitable container.

 Only open drain valve (2) to extent that coolant can drain out.

Close drain valve (2) and remove drain hose from fitting (1).

Remove coolant hose (3) from oil cooler (4) and collect escaping coolant in a suitable container.

Attach coolant hose (3) to oil cooler (4).

Pour in

Pour in coolant and bleed engine cooling system.
