 Warning

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Drain off

Slowly open cap (1) on coolant expansion reservoir (2) and take off

Push drain hose (3) onto drain fitting (4) on cooler (5)

Unfasten drain screw (6) at radiator (5) using a suitable screwdriver and drain off coolant


Remove drain screw (6) until coolant flows out.
Drain screw (6) will otherwise be permanently damaged.

 Collect coolant in a suitable container.
Observe regulations to dispose of coolant.

Tighten drain screw (6) and detach drain hose (3)

Pour in

Pour in coolant and ventilate engine cooling system

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
