1 | Carefully unscrew cooling system cap (2) from coolant expansion reservoir (1) | Turn cooling system cap (2) counterclockwise by half a revolution, relieve overpressure, and unscrew cooling system cap (2). | |
2 | Raise vehicle | ||
3 | Remove lower engine compartment paneling | ||
4 | Push drain hose onto the drain valve (4) on the cooler | ||
5 | Open radiator drain screw (3) and drain coolant | Collect coolant in a suitable container. Re-use clean coolant. | |
6 | Close cooler drain screw (3) and detach drain hose from the cooler drain valve | ||
