Remove/install

Remove oxygen sensor upstream of catalytic converter

Remove heat shield (5)

 To do so, remove the screw/bolts (6).

 Screw/bolt, heat shield to exhaust manifold

Remove banjo bolt (2)

 Banjo bolt, turbocharger oil line to turbocharger

Remove front right wheel

Remove right fender liner

Remove oil pressure line (1) upwards

 To do this, remove banjo bolt (3).

 Installation: Check seals.

 Banjo bolt, exhaust gas turbocharger oil line to crankcase

Depending on findings

Replace seals.

Install in the reverse order



Check oil level with oil dipstick



Correct oil level.

 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
