3 | Remove injection lines of the fuel injectors | ||
4 | Remove pressure line from the high-pressure pump to the rail (1) | ||
5 | Remove fuel return line (2) from rail (1) | Installation: Install new clamp of the fuel return line (2). | |
Pliers | |||
6 | Remove screws (3), remove rail (1) and disconnect electrical connectors from the rail pressure sensor (B4/6) and from the pressure regulating valve (Y74) | Bolt, rail to charge air manifold | |
7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
8 | Read out fault memory; clear if necessary | ||
