Remove the oil dipstick guide tube

Detach air intake hose (8) from air intake connection (9)

Remove expansion clip (5) on fender liner in right rear fender

Detach diagonal struts

Lower fuel tank and position

 Installation: Note routing of refrigerant lines (3). There must have a minimum distance of about 5 mm to the body, fuel tank or other components, otherwise noises or damage may be caused by impacts or chafing.



Unscrew plastic nut (1) and remove folding clamp (2) from screw bolt

Unclip refrigerant lines (3) from bracket (4) and remove bracket (4)

For vehicles with code (I01) Air Conditioning Plus, for which the holder (4) is still installed.

 Installation: The bracket (4) may no longer be installed.

Unhook electrical line (6) from bracket (7)

For engine 132.9

Remove rear apron

Position major assembly lifting table with universal main assembly mount and fix in place with the mount on the engine

Replace screw/bolts (15) with lowering bolts (18) and screw/bolts (16) with lowering bolts (17)

 Observe installation location of screw/bolts (15, 16).

 Position: Screw in screw/bolts (15, 16) all the way and then tighten.



Lower rear-wheel drive module carefully

 When lowering, check for unobstructed movement of electrical lines and hoses in order to avoid causing any damage. For vehicles with code (I01) Air Conditioning Plus, ensure that the refrigerant lines (3) are not bent since these must be replaced otherwise .

Positioning: For vehicles with code (I01) Air Conditioning Plus, ensure that the refrigerant lines (3) have unobstructed movement relative to each other and are not damaged due to impacts, chafing, bending or crushing.

Position: Ensure that torque strut is correctly introduced into the sleeve.
