Remove interior flap above engine

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.

Raise vehicle with lifting platform

Remove bolt (2) to vacuum pump

Installation: Use suitable insert Torx box wrench for tightening with the prescribed tightening torque.

Remove bolt (3) from timing case cover

Remove oil dipstick guide tube (1) from timing case cover.

Observe installation position of oil dipstick guide tube (1).

Installation: Replace sealing ring on oil dipstick guide tube (1).

Install in the reverse order

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
