Danger! | Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near engine | Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving.
| Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts | All models | |
1 | Depressurize cyclone separator (11) | To do this, switch on the ignition and lower the reservoir pressure of the compressed-air system to approx. 9 bar by operating the service brake. Then start the engine and fill the compressed-air system up to the cut off of the pressure regulator. Switch off the engine and switch off the ignition.
2 | Remove the cover panel in front of the cyclone separator (11) | If installed
3 | Detach connector (12) from switch (1) of the drain valve (5)
4 | Detach drain valve (5) from cyclone separator housing (3) | To do this, unscrew the bolts (2) and counterhold the nuts in the process. For better access, remove the cyclone separator (11) if necessary.
5 | Remove the cyclone separator insert (7) from the cyclone separator housing (3)
