Remove/install

Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery.

Remove front door trim.

When removing the pressure sensor of the driver's door (B48/7) or the pressure sensor of the front passenger door (B48/8).

Remove rear door trim.

When removing the pressure sensor of the rear door at the left (B48/9) or the pressure sensor of the rear door at the right (B48/10).

Release electrical connector(1) and disconnect.

Twist the respective pressure sensor (B48/7, B48/8, B48/9, B48/10) in direction of arrow and remove.

Install in the reverse order.

Check

Check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) using vehicle diagnosis system.

When replacing pressure sensor (B48/7, B48/8, B48/9, B48/10).
