Remove/install

Open side window of front door.

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).

Remove screw/bolts (2) .

Unclip door trim (1) for front door all around and remove until the electrical connectors are accessible.


Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension.
This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability.

Release and disconnect electrical connectors of door trim (1).

 The number of electrical connectors varies according to vehicle equipment.

Unhook wire from inside door opener.

Remove door trim (1) at front door.

 Installation: Replace damaged retaining clips (6) and damaged guide clip (7) if necessary.
Pay attention to audible engagement of guide clip (7).

 First lift up front of door trim (1) then remove to the rear.

Install in the reverse order.
