| Remove/install | ||
1 | Switch off ignition and remove ignition key | ||
2 | Disconnect battery ground line | ||
3 | Remove floor covering in front passenger footwell | ||
4 | Unscrew screw/bolt (2) from footrest at the front passenger footwell firewall | ||
5 | Extend footrest upwards and remove from front passenger footwell | ||
6 | Disconnect 10-pin electrical connector in front passenger footwell | ||
7 | Remove carpet (4) from center console | ||
8 | Remove screw/bolt (9) | ||
9 | Remove switch/selector lever cover | ||
10 | Unscrew screws/bolts (6) of ashtray | ||
11 | Disconnect electrical connectors and remove ashtray | ||
12 | Unscrew screw/bolt (8) of front passenger transmission tunnel lining | ||
13 | Disconnect electrical connector from airbag/emergency tensioning retractor control unit | ||
14 | Unscrew screws/bolts (7) from airbag/emergency tensioning retractor control unit | Bolt, control unit to vehicle floor | |
15 | Remove airbag/emergency tensioning retractor control unit | ||
16 | Install in the reverse order | ||
