Removal, installation

Remove front seat

Remove driver's seat cushion

Unclip control cable at keeper (4) for gas-operated strut (5) and unhook

When installing check adjustment of control cable (1), adjust, if necessary

Detach gas-operated strut (5) by screwing off nuts (2 and 3) and pulling out pin (8)

When installing pay attention to arrest for pin (8)!

Remove gas-operated strut (5) from seat adjustment mechanism (9)

When installing ensure that gas-operated strut (5) is installed in correct position, ensure that lever (7) points downward.

Release gas in gas-operated strut and empty

Dispose of gas-operated strut (old part)

Reinstall in opposite order
