Never perform welding work on or near a closed air conditioning system. No smoking or open flames. Wear safety glasses and protective gloves. Work only in well ventilated rooms. Remove/install

Discharge air conditioning system.

Drain off coolant.

Remove poly-V-belt.

Remove coolant hose (2) from coolant line (1), seal openings with protective covers and place to one side.

Release and disconnect electrical connector (3).

Remove refrigerant lines (4) from refrigerant compressor with magnetic clutch (A9/7) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs.

 Installation: Replace sealing rings of refrigerant lines (4).

Unscrew screws (5) and remove refrigerant compressor with magnetic clutch (A9/7).

 Bolt, refrigerant compressor to oil filter housing/crankcase/oil pan

Install in the reverse order.

Perform break in of refrigerant compressor with magnetic clutch (A9/7) using vehicle diagnosis system.

When replacing refrigerant compressor with magnetic clutch (A9/7).


