Remove

Remove fluid reservoir

with code HH9 (Air conditioner, automatic heater control)

Lift vehicle on vehicle lift

Slacken the V-belt of the refrigerant compressor (7) and remove

AR13.21-D-0160-01R

Cut the cable tie (1) and expose the electrical line (2)

Unscrew nuts (3, 4)

Unscrew screws/bolts (11) and remove plate (10) with refrigerant lines (5, 6) from refrigerant compressor (7)

Seal connections using suitable stop plugs

 Record plug

Unscrew screws/bolts (8) and remove refrigerant compressor (7) with bracket (9)

Release and disconnect electrical connector of refrigerant compressor (7)



Install

Connect and lock electrical connector of refrigerant compressor (7)

Position refrigerant compressor (7) and bracket (9) on attached assembly carrier and tighten screws/bolts (8)

 Bolt, A/C compressor to carrier

Remove stop plug

 Record plug

Coat new sealing rings with compressor oil and attach to refrigerant lines (5, 6)



Compressor oils (specification 362.0)

Attach refrigerant lines (5, 6) with plate (10) to refrigerant compressor (7) and tighten screws/bolts (11)

 Bolt, refrigerant line to refrigerant compressor

Tighten nuts (3, 4)

Fasten electrical line (2) to refrigerant line (6) with new cable tie (1)

Place the V-belt of the refrigerant compressor (7) in position and tension
