Never perform welding work on or near a closed air conditioning system. No smoking or open flames. Wear safety glasses and protective gloves. Work only in well ventilated areas. Carry out repair work on the air conditioning system circuit only after the system has been drained.

Remove right stowage compartment from passenger compartment

Remove right paneling at corner pillar

Remove right air duct to passenger compartment

Unscrew nuts (1) and remove refrigerant lines (D, M)

Seal off each of the openings of the refrigerant lines (C, D, E, L, M, N) using stop plugs

 Record plug

Remove screws/bolts (3), unclip bracket (4) and swing to one side

 The refrigerant lines (D, M) are fastened in place with two brackets (4).

Remove refrigerant lines (D, M)



Install

Remove stop plugs from refrigerant lines (C, D, E, L, M, N)

Insert refrigerant lines (D, M)

Attach refrigerant lines (D, M) and tighten nuts (1)



Compressor oils (specification 362.0)

 Attach refrigerant lines (C, D, M, N) with new sealing rings (2). Coat sealing rings (2) with compressor oil.

Clip in bracket (4) and tighten screws/bolts (3)

 The refrigerant lines (D, M) are fastened in place with two brackets (4).

Replace fluid reservoir

 After completing the work at the open refrigerant circuit, the accumulator must be replaced.

Fill AC system and test for leaks
