Remove

Completely open panoramic sliding sunroof.

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).

Remove drip rails.

Remove left and right roof railing.

Remove left and right drip rail.

Remove rear sealing lip (2).

Fix seal (1) on upper windshield using suitable tape.

 In order to prevent damage.

Mask off wind deflector with inner front seal towards inside.

 In order to prevent damage.

Mask off adjacent paint surfaces using suitable tape.

 To prevent damage during cutting.

 Warning

Wear cut-proof gloves and safety glasses.

Prepare body flange for front fixed element (4) of panoramic sliding sunroof for installation.

Risk of poisoning caused by inhaling vapors or swallowing adhesive. Risk of injury caused by adhesive coming into contact with skin and eyes

Wear respiratory protection, protective gloves and safety glasses. Pour adhesive into suitable and appropriately marked containers only.

Install front fixed element (4) of panoramic sliding sunroof.

Do not move vehicle for at least 10 h after gluing in front fixed element (4).
The strength of the adhesively bonded connection is otherwise impaired and the required adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured.

 Helper required.

Install rear sealing lip (2).

Install left and right drip rail.

Install left and right roof railing.

Remove tape residues.

Finishing activity

Normalize panoramic sliding sunroof using vehicle diagnosis system and perform teach-in run for automatic reversing function.


