Remove/install

Remove bottom door trim on left or right sliding door (2).

Disconnect electrical connection (3).

Remove electrical wiring harness (4) from inner door panel.

Installation: Replace damaged fasteners.

Remove bolts (5).

Bolt, electric motor for door drive system to inner door panel

Simultaneously release safety hooks (6) in direction of arrow (arrows B) and pull off door drive system electric motor (1) from drive shaft (7) toward front.

Installation:
Ensure that the safety hooks (6) are fully engaged on the drive shaft (7) and the assembly funnel (8) is seated correctly in the door drive system electric motor (1).
Malfunctions of the door drive system may otherwise occur.

Remove door drive system electric motor (1) from sliding door (2) until the cable mount (9) is accessible (arrow A).

Remove cable (9) from door drive system electric motor (1).

Install in the reverse order.

Fully open sliding door (2) using the push button switch for the sliding door (2) and then close again completely.

For normalizing the electric drive of the sliding door (2).
