Remove/install

Remove bottom door trim on the left and/or right sliding door (2)

Open sliding door (2) approximately half way

Disconnect electrical connector (3)

Unclip plug housing (3.1) from connector housing (3.2) using a suitable screwdriver (4) (arrow)

Remove cover (5) from the anti-entrapment strip (1)

Remove retaining clips (6)

Remove anti-entrapment strip (1) from the sliding door (2) until the grommet (7) is accessible

Remove grommet (7) together with the electrical wiring harness (8) from the sliding door (2) and remove anti-entrapment strip (1)

Install in the reverse order



Check

Perform function test of the anti-entrapment strip (1)
