| Remove | ||
1 | Remove lower rotary tumbler from rear-end door. | ||
The bottom rotary tumbler remains in the rear-end door with the installed cable (3). | |||
2 | Remove release lever. | ||
3 | Unscrew screw/bolts (1). | ||
4 | Remove release (2) from rear-end door until cables (3, 4) are accessible. | ||
5 | Remove cables (3, 4) from release (2) and remove release (2). | ||
| Install | ||
6 | Attach cables (3, 4) to release (2). | ||
7 | Insert release (2) into installation opening on rear-end door. | ||
8 | Tighten screws (1) lightly by hand. | ||
9 | Install release lever. | ||
10 | Attach lower rotary tumbler to rear-end door. | ||
11 | Check whether the upper and lower rotary tumblers open simultaneously when the left rear-end door is opened. | If the upper and lower rotary tumblers do not open simultaneously: | |

Adjust release (2). | |||
12 | Tighten screws (1). | If release (2) did not have to be adjusted in previous operation step. | |

13 | Perform function check of release (2). |
