1 | Remove door lining from left or right front door | Before disconnecting electrical connectors on the left front door control unit or right front door control unit completely close crank window in front door. | |

3 | Loosen door foil (3) from inner door panel (4) and fasten to front door with suitable masking tape | Loosen door foil (3) only until electric wiring harness (6) is accessible. Refer to: | |

4.1 | Unclip clips (5) from inner door panel (4) and expose electric wiring harness (6) | On vehicles with code (889) Keyless go | |
Installation: Ensure that electric wiring harness (6) is routed correctly | |||
5 | Remove exterior door handle on front door | ||
6 | Remove seals (7) from front door on outside | Installation: Observe installation position of seals (7) outside of front door | |
7 | Loosen screw (8) | | |
8 | Remove bearing bracket (1) toward front and remove from front door | ||
9.1 | Unscrew screw (8) from bearing bracket (1) | When replacing bearing brackets (1). | |
10 | Install in the reverse order | ||
11 | Check lock system for proper function |
