Remove/install

Open corresponding door.

Lower corresponding side window.

Release mirror triangle trim element  (1) at marked location (arrow) in window guide using suitable tool and then unclip.

When removing sealing rail at front door.

Remove outer sealing rail (2).


Carefully lift out outer sealing rail (2) from fold of inner door panel.
Outer sealing rail (2) will otherwise be damaged.

 Installation: Wet rubber seal of outer sealing rail (2) with lubricant.
Ensure that outer sealing rail (2) is correctly seated in inner door panel.

Remove corresponding door trim.

Door trim of front door.

Door trim of rear door.

Remove inner sealing rail (3).


Carefully lift inner sealing rail (3) out of fold of inner door panel.
Inner sealing rail (3) will otherwise be damaged.

 Installation: Wet rubber seal of inner sealing rail (3) with lubricant.
Ensure inner sealing rail (3) is correctly seated in inner door panel.
