Remove/install

1

Remove interior protection sensor in passenger compartment.

Model 907.6/7
with code FY1 (Anti-Theft Protection package)

Remove corresponding dome lamps in the passenger compartment.

Remove rear section of the air duct of the roof-mounted air conditioning system.

Remove D-pillar trims.

Unclip retaining clips (1) of the rear center roof lining section (2).

 Installation: Replace damaged retaining clips (1).

Remove expansion rivet (3) of the rear roof lining (4).

 Installation: Replace damaged expansion rivet (3).

 Clip remover

Remove expansion rivets (5) of the rear roof lining (4).

 Installation: Replace damaged expansion rivets (5).

 Clip remover

Guide electrical wiring harness (6) out of the rear roof lining (4).

Carefully lower rear roof lining (4) and take out of the vehicle.

Install in the reverse order.



Check

11

Perform function test of the dome lamps.

Perform function test of the interior protection sensor.
