| Expose weld seams on outer rear-end center section (1) (areas A and B).

| Cut weld seams on outer rear-end center section (1) (areas A and B).
|

| Expose spot welds on outer rear-end center section (1) (areas C and D).
|

| Cut off spot welds on outer rear-end center section (1) (areas C and D).
|
5
| Remove damaged rear center section outer section (1).
|
6
| Sand down mating surfaces to bare metal in cross-hatched areas .
|
|
| Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.
|
7
| Remove shavings and milling chips.
|
8
| Zinc dust paint to insides of spot weld flanges.
