Do not make the cuts too deep. |
Transfer connecting points from new part. Cut connecting point at end of upper radius (area A). For area B maintain an interval of at least 20 mm from the stamped area. |

2 | Mark separating point on side wall paneling (1) and cut (area C). |
Do not cut too deeply. |
Transfer connecting point from new part. |
3 | Cut fold edge on wheel arch of sidewall paneling (1) (area D). |
4 | Remove remaining pieces of flanged folded edge of sidewall paneling (1). |
5 | Expose spot welds on side wall paneling (1) and cut out (areas E, F, G and H). |

6 | Expose spot welds on side wall paneling (1) and cut out (areas I, J and K). |
7 | Expose spot welds on side wall paneling (1) and cut out (area L). |
8 | Heat sidewall paneling (1) in crosshatched areas. |
Cross-hatched areas are bonded. |
9 | Remove damaged side wall paneling (1). |

Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides. |
11 | Remove shavings and drill chips. |
12 | Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint. |
Do not coat bonding surface (area M) with zinc dust paint. |
Observe preliminary treatment of bonding surface. |
