Dimension approx. 10 mm

1	Mark separating point on C-pillar (1) (area A).

 Observe dimension (A).

2	Separate at separating point on C-pillar (1) (area A).

 Do not make the cuts too deep.
Otherwise the components below can be damaged and weakened.

3	Expose spot welds on C-pillar (1) (areas B to I).

4	Cut off spot welds on C-pillar (1) (areas B to I).

5	Heat C-pillar (1) in crosshatched areas (areas J and K).

 Crosshatched areas are bonded.

6	Remove damaged C-pillar (1).

7	Expose spot welds on inner side wall (2) and outer rear wheel well (3) (areas L to O).

8	Cut off spot welds on inner side wall (2) and outer rear wheel well (3) through two panel thicknesses (area N).

9	Cut off spot welds on inner side wall (2) and outer rear wheel well (3) (areas L, M, and O).

 Cut out spot weld (arrow) through two panel thicknesses.

11	Separate at separating points on inner side wall (2) (areas P and Q).

 Do not cut too deeply.
Otherwise the components below can be damaged and weakened.

12	Expose spot welds on inner side wall (2), outer rear wheel well (3), rear reinforcement (5), and front reinforcement (6) (areas R to U).

13	Cut off spot welds on inner side wall (2), outer rear wheel well (3), rear reinforcement (5), and front reinforcement (6) (areas R to U).

 Cut out spot welds (arrows) through two panel thicknesses.

14	Remove damaged inner side wall (2), outer rear wheel well (3), rear reinforcement (5), and front reinforcement (6).

15	Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.

 Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

16	Remove shavings and drill chips.

17	Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.

 Do not coat bonding surfaces with zinc dust paint (area V).
Otherwise there may be adhesion problems.

 Observe pretreatment of bonding surface (area V).

18	Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.

 Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

19	Remove shavings and drill chips.

20	Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
