Dispose of cut-off remaining piece.

Punch holes in rear sidewall paneling up to window cutout (1) with a diameter of 6 mm (areas B and C).

Grind mating surfaces on rear side wall paneling up to window cutout (1) down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas and around holes (areas B and C).

Drill holes in rear side wall paneling up to window cutout (1) with a diameter of 7 mm (areas E and F).

Grind mating surfaces on rear side wall paneling up to window cutout (1) down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas and around holes (areas E and F).

 Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

Remove shavings and drill chips.

Zinc dust paint to insides of spot weld flanges.
