Remove/install

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m)

Remove left or right rear bumper corner until the outer PARKTRONIC sensor (1.3) is accessible

When removing an outer PARKTRONIC sensor (1.3).

Remove rear bumper

When removing an inner PARKTRONIC sensor (1.2) or a center PARKTRONIC sensor (1.1).

Carefully release the catch hooks on the holder (2) in direction of arrow and pull inner PARKTRONIC sensor (1.1, 1.2, 1.3) out of holder (2)

Installation:
Make sure that the electrical line is routed and secured correctly.
Otherwise, the electric line will be damaged.

Disconnect electrical connector (3)

Check decoupling element (4) for damage and correct seating on the PARKTRONIC sensor (1.1, 1.2, 1.3)

If the decoupling element (4) is damaged.

Replace decoupling element (4).

If the decoupling element (4) is not correctly seated.

Correct position of decoupling element (4).

Install in the reverse order

Perform function check for PARKTRONIC
