Remove/install

Remove fuse 74 on left electric sliding door

Assignment of right footwell firewall fuse and relay module

Remove fuse 311 on right electric sliding door

Remove door sill from left or right sliding door

Unscrew screws/bolts (1) and remove running board (2)

Release bracket of electrical connectors (3) from body

Detach electrical connections (3)

 The number of electrical connections (3) varies depending on equipment installed.

Remove screws (4)

Move carrier (5) in direction of arrow and remove in upward direction

Remove sliding door panel

Take off door foil

Disconnect electrical connectors (6, 9)

Disconnect electrical connections (7)

Disconnect electrical connection (8)

Disconnect Electrical connections (10)

Remove electrical wiring harness (11) from sliding door

Move sliding door to corresponding position and drill out rivet (13) using angular drill

 The rear rivet (13) is accessible if the sliding door is in the area between the rear wheel and the wheel arch.

 Installation: Install rivets (13) using a commercially available hand riveter.

Remove energy chain (12)

Detach carrier (5) from energy chain (12)

If carrier (5) or energy chain (12) is replaced.

Install in the reverse order



Perform function check of all electrical components in repair area
