Remove lower door trim of right or left sliding door.

Set release (1) to "MAN" position using a suitable screwdriver.

This deactivates the sliding door electric drive.

Disconnect electrical connector (6) and pull electrical wiring harness downwards out of sliding door.

Remove lower guide rail for sliding door.

Disconnect electrical connectors (7, 8).

Create access to electrical wiring harness of flexible power duct (4) at entrance.

Installation: Replace damaged fasteners.

Unclip flexible power duct (4) from sectional molding of protective foil (5).

Installation: Do not grease the energy chain (4).

Mark installation position of bracket (2) on sliding door.

Detach bracket (2) with lower carriage (3) from sliding door.

Installation: Align bracket (2) with markings.
Tighten screws slightly by hand.
Tighten screws to specified torque after adjustment.

Remove flexible power duct (4) together with lower carriage (3).

Install in the reverse order.

Adjust

Adjust lower carriage (3).

Set release (1) to "AUTO" position using a suitable screwdriver.

This reactivates the electric drive of the sliding door.

Fully open sliding door using pushbutton switch for sliding door and then close again completely.

For normalization of electric drive of sliding door.
