Do not detach brake fluid reservoir from master brake cylinder. | |||
4 | Detach vacuum line (2) from brake booster (1) | ||
5 | Move back driver seat | ||
6 | Remove mechanical stop lamp switch | ||
7 | Detach brake booster (1) from brake pedal (3) | To do so, remove retaining ring (4) from pin (5), unclip retaining clamp (6) downwards from push rod (7) and pull out pin (5). | |
Installation: Check retaining ring (4), replace if necessary. | |||
8 | Remove brake booster (1) | To do so, use suitable tool to release retainer (8) and unscrew brake booster (1) in clockwise direction from bayonet lock. | |
9 | Remove brake booster attachment (9) | To do so, unscrew nuts (10). | |
Installation: Check the position of plastic bushing (arrow). | |||
