Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.

Before starting the engine, actuate brake pedal several times until pressure is built up and maintained in the brake system.

Remove/install

Remove reservoir (2)

 When reusing, clean the reservoir (2) with spirit.

Remove brake lines (3) from master brake cylinder (1)

 Close off the brake lines (3) and the holes at the master brake cylinder (1) with suitable  stop plugs.

 Threaded connection, brake line to brake hose

Unscrew nuts (4) and remove master brake cylinder (1)

 Check brake booster for damage caused by leaking master brake cylinder (1).
It is not possible to repair the master brake cylinder (1).

 Installation: Replace O-ring between master brake cylinder (1) and brake booster.

 Nut, master brake cylinder to brake unit

Install in the reverse order

Check fluid level in reservoir (2), rectify if necessary
