Remove

Remove rear axle shaft (1)

Disassemble/assemble

Remove outer boot (3) or inner boot (2)

Remove respective joint from rear axle shaft (1)

 When replacing the inner boot (2) and outer boot (3) simultaneously, remove only the outer joint (4).

Driving out and pressing on outer joint

Pressing inside CV joint off and onto rear axle shaft

Remove inner boot (2) or outer boot (3) from rear axle shaft (1)

Replace circlip (5) and circlip (6)

Assemble in the reverse order



Install rear axle shaft (1)
