Remove/install

Remove corresponding air suspension bellows.

Remove nut (3) and pull screw of torsion bar linkage out of spring link (1).

 Installation: Replace nut (3) and screw of torsion bar linkage.

 Nut, torsion bar linkage to spring link

Remove nut and pull screw (4) out of spring link (1).

 Installation: Replace screw (4) and accompanying nut.

 Bolt, spring control arm to wheel carrier

Remove nut (2) and pull screw of spring link (1) out of rear axle carrier (5).

 Installation: Replace nut (2) and screw of spring link (1).

 Bolt, spring control arm to rear axle carrier

 Screwdriver bit

Remove spring link (1).



Check

6

Check elastomer bearing (6) in rear axle carrier (5) for condition and damage.

If there is a problem,



replace elastomer bearing (6).

Check supporting joint (8) in wheel carrier (7) for condition and damage.

If there is a problem,



Replace supporting joint (8).

Install in the reverse order.



Measure

Perform chassis alignment.
