Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove/install

Put transmission into neutral position.

Secure vehicle on vehicle lift.

Remove exhaust system.

Support rear axle differential (50) with major assembly mount and support plate.



Remove screws/bolts (1).

 Bolt, rear axle differential to rear transverse bridge

Remove screw (2).

 Rear axle differential to front adapter

Lower rear axle differential (50) until elastomer bearings (10) are accessible.


Do not lower the rear axle differential (50) too far.
Otherwise the drive shafts will be damaged.

Press elastomer bearings (10) of rear axle differential (50) out of rear axle carrier (3).
