Insert assembly block (a) between spring and spring clamp plates



Lift transverse control arm (12) with major assembly mount approx. 10 mm



Remove steering knuckle

Remove transverse control arm (12) from front axle housing

Remove elastomer bearing from transverse control arm (12)

If required.

Install

Install elastomer bearing at transverse control arm (12)

Mount transverse control arm (12) onto front axle housing



Do not tighten nuts (3) yet.

Install complete wheel

Lower vehicle with lifting platform

Remove assembly block (a) between spring and spring clamp plate

 The vehicle must be standing on its complete wheels.

Roll vehicle forward and backward approx. 1 m and rock firmly

Tighten nuts (3)

 The vehicle must be standing on its complete wheels.

Build up brake pressure

 Operate brake pedal several times.

Perform wheel alignment check
