 Danger

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove

Loosen respective front axle shaft.

Model 910 with engine 651

 To do so, only loosen screw of wheel hub (1) to front axle shaft and put back in.

Remove/install left front axle shaft

Remove front axle brake disk.

Remove front axle shaft at steering knuckle end.

 To do so, unscrew screw of wheel hub (1) to front axle shaft and pull front axle shaft out of wheel hub (1).
Secure front axle shaft outside of working area.

Remove/install left front axle shaft

Remove bolts (2) .

Remove wheel hub (1) from steering knuckle.



Check

Check wheel hub (1) and included wheel bearings for wear and damage.

If wheel hub (1) or included wheel bearings are worn or damaged,



Replace wheel hub (1).

Check steering knuckle for wear and damage.

If steering knuckle is worn or damaged,



replace steering knuckle.

Install

Install wheel hub (1) into steering knuckle.

Screw in screw/bolts (2).

 Screw, wheel hub to steering knuckle

Attach front axle shaft at steering knuckle end.

 Screw in (but do not yet tighten) new screw on wheel hub (1) at front axle shaft.

Install front axle brake disk.

 Only attach front wheel after tightening screw of wheel hub (1) at front axle shaft.

Tighten screw of wheel hub (1) at front axle shaft.
