Remove/install

Remove transmitter key and mains plug

Raise vehicle using the vehicle lift and secure in place

When work is continued on the vehicle such as, e.g. when supporting major assemblies using a jack (e.g. telescopic lifter) which exert an uneven load distribution, and when removing the following components: front axle, front axle carrier, axle tube, rear axle integral carrier, engine or transmission.

Remove front underfloor paneling

Unscrew retaining bracket (2)

 Bolt, support, front axle carrier to front axle carrier

Support front axle using telescopic lifter and removal fixture



Remove bolts (1)

 Bolt, front-axle carrier to body

Carefully lower front axle as far as possible

Install in the reverse order

Perform wheel alignment check
