Remove/install

Switch off ignition.

Remove feed hose from clutch master cylinder (4).

Remove hydraulic line from clutch master cylinder (4).

Remove air duct (3).

Remove rear end position push button switch at clutch pedal (5).

Remove front end position push button switch at clutch pedal (5).

Remove electrical wiring harness of end position push button switch from pedal bracket (1).

Unscrew nuts (2).

 Nut, clutch pedal, pedal bracket to firewall

Remove pedal bracket (1).

 Installation:
Do not use lubricants on bearing bushings of clutch pedal (5) and clutch master cylinder (4).
Otherwise, the bearing bushings will be damaged.

 The pedal bracket (1) and the clutch pedal (5) form a unit and can only be replaced together. The clutch master cylinder (4) is available as a separate part.

 Installation: Ensure correct seating of insulation material (6) on clutch master cylinder (4) relative to firewall.

Remove clutch master cylinder (4).

If the clutch master cylinder (4) is replaced.
