Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.

Remove/install

Extract brake fluid from brake fluid reservoir.

 To do so, open brake fluid reservoir.

 Commercially available devices/tools
Extraction bellows



Clean

Clean clutch hydraulic line (1) in area of connecting points.

Assembly cleaner

Release clamp (2) from clutch master cylinder.

 Release clamp (2) using suitable tool.

Disconnect clutch hydraulic line (1) at connecting point to clutch master cylinder.

 Collect escaping brake fluid and seal openings.

 Record plug

Release clamp (2) on central clutch release bearing.

 Release clamp (2) using suitable tool.

Disconnect clutch hydraulic line (1) at connecting point to central clutch release bearing.

 Collect escaping brake fluid and seal openings.

 Record plug

Remove clutch hydraulic line (1) upwards.

 To do so, detach holder (3) from longitudinal member.

 Installation: Check sealing rings (6) and holder (3) for damage.

If corresponding findings exist,



replace respective sealing ring (6) or holder (3).

Install in the reverse order

Bleed clutch actuation system.

Check clutch operation system for leak tightness.

 Visual inspection only.
