| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove center console cover (1). | ||
2 | Detach shift cable (2) and shift cable (3) from center shifter console (4). | ||
3 | Pull back rear sections of quick-fit connectors (2H, 3H) (see arrows) and remove shift cable (2) or shift cable (3) upwards out of holders of center shifter console (4) then place to one side. | ||
4 | Unscrew nuts (5) and remove center shifter console (4) upwards. | ||
5 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
6 | Adjust shift cable (2) and shift cable (3). | When replacing the center shifter console (4). | |

Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. | Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. | |
7 | Perform engine test run and check operation of gearshift system. |
