Remove/install

1

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).

Open armrest.

Unclip inner panel of armrest cover (1) and remove screws.

Release catch hooks through openings (7) with suitable means; in this connection, slightly pull armrest cover (1) upwards.

Release locking hooks (8) and remove armrest cover (1).

Remove shift lever knob with gearshift lever boot.

Unclip handrest cover (2).

Unscrew screws (3) and remove cover (4).

Remove screws (6).

Lift cover from center console (5) at rear until electrical connectors can be accessed.


Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension.
This will otherwise result in damage to electric lines and can impair their function.

Release and disconnect electrical connectors.

 The number of electrical connectors varies according to vehicle equipment.

Remove cover (5) from center console.

 Installation: Ensure that all catch hooks (arrows A) retract.

If catch hooks (arrows A) are damaged



Replace cover (5) on center console.

Install in the reverse order.
