The figure shown here corresponds to a transmission 715.054
Validation
1 | Place the rear of the transmission (2) on two bases (3) so that the secondary shaft (1) is positioned vertically and free from the box. |
This way the bearing clearance is eliminated by the main shaft weight itself (1). |
W26.50-0058-11
2 | Remove the locking ring (indicated by the arrow).. |
To remove the lock ring (indicated by the arrow) on the 715.064 transmissions. the drive shaft at the front of the gearbox must be removed under pressure.
3 | Install under pressure the drive shaft (4), with no clearance in the front part of the gearbox (5). |
The drive shaft radial bearing (4) must be installed under pressure until it makes contact with the front of the gearbox.
4 | Place the front of the gearbox with the drive shaft on a base (6). |
In this way, the bearing clearance is eliminated by the weight of the front of the gearbox (5). |
W26.50-0059-12
5 | Place the depth gauge (8) on the separation surface of the guide tube and measure the distance from the separation surface to the inner ring of the radial bearing on the drive shaft. Measure "A". |
Measure "A" must be determined by making two opposite measurements, as described in work operation 5 (average value).
6 | Install the existing compensation washer. |
7 | Place the front of the gearbox on the rear and secure using two screws placed in opposite positions. |
W26.50-1005-11
8
Place the three screws (9) evenly in the threaded holes for the guide tube.
The thread should allow free movement. The screws should not be tightened, but only screwed to the stop. The screws, when placed, put pressure on the outer ring of the radial bearing and thus put the shaft in contact with the main shaft. .
9
Loosen the screws again and measure the distance from the separation surface of the guide tube to the inner race of the radial bearing on the drive shaft again. Measurement "B".
Measure "B" must be determined by making two opposite measurements, as described in work operation 5 (average value).
Measure " B " - Measure "A " = Main shaft measured clearance.
If the measured clearance differs from the specified value, the compensating washer to be installed must be greater or less by a value corresponding to the divergence.
Very large gap ® Larger compensating washer
Very small gap ® Smaller compensating washer
10
Remove the screws and remove the front of the gearbox from the rear.
