Detach lower engine compartment paneling

Unscrew screw (2)

Pull backup lamp switch (S16/2) out of
the transmission (3)

Installation: Replace sealing ring on backup lamp switch (S16/2).

Install in the reverse order

starting procedure

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.
