Remove/install

Remove shift cables at transmission

Remove bearing for transmission mounting

Unscrew nut (2) under intake manifold

 Nut, transmission to engine

Remove bolt (3) under intake manifold

 Bolt, transmission to engine

Secure vehicle on vehicle lift

Remove rear axle shafts

Disconnect electrical connection (4)

Disconnect electrical connection (5)

Unclip electrical wiring harness (6) and remove from working area

Remove bolt (7) from ground line (8)

 Bolt, ground line to transmission

Remove ground line (8) from working area

Release hydraulic line (9), detach it and seal connections

 Record plug

Unclip bleed hose (10) from intake manifold

Remove bolts (11) and remove support (12)

 Bolt, support to crankcase

 Bolt, front engine mount to transmission housing

Unfasten nut (13) and remove grub screw (14)

 Nut, transmission to engine

 Threaded pin to engine/transmission

Position telescopic lifter using removal fixture at suitable position on transmission (1)


