| Remove | ||
1 | Remove dual clutch and clutch release bearing | ||
2 | Remove corresponding clutch actuator | ||
3 | Mark assignment of bolts (2) to corresponding release lever (1) and its position | ||
4 | Unscrew screws (2, 3) | ||
5 | Grasp the release lever (1), as shown, on the lever body (1.2) and take it out | ||
| Clean | ||
6 | Clean contact areas, between release lever (1) and transmission | ||
| Install | ||
7 | Turn drive shaft (1.3) by hand in clockwise direction until thrust piece (1.4) moves all way in and reaches the end stop | ||
8 | Insert release lever (1) | Make sure that the thrust piece (1.4) does not move out again. | |
9 | Install corresponding clutch actuator | ||
10 | Tighten bolts (3) | Bolt, release lever to transmission | |
11 | Position bolts (2) lightly by hand | Note markings of installation position and assignment. | |
12 | Align spring cups for bolts (2) and tighten bolts (2) | The cambers on the lever (1.1) must mesh into the recesses of the spring cups (arrow). | |

13 | Remove locking plate from release lever (1) | When replacing release lever (1). | |
14 | Install dual clutch and clutch release bearing |
